Free from Addictions

Addiction is not only a physical state but also an emotional and spiritual one. In our modern world, this issue is becoming increasingly relevant, as many people find themselves trapped in various addictions. It doesn't matter whether it’s alcohol, drugs, gambling, or other forms of addiction, all of them can cause serious harm to our lives, relationships, and spiritual well-being.

The Bible offers us a way to liberation and restoration.

Romans 12:2

"And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God."

This verse reminds us of the importance of rethinking our lives and making choices that lead to freedom from addictions.

The first step in overcoming addiction is to acknowledge the problem. Don’t be ashamed to admit that you are addicted, as this is primarily a step toward liberation. You are not alone in your struggles; our church is always ready to support you. A community of sincere people who care for one another can become your support on this journey. Proverbs 27:17

"As iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend."
It is important to surround yourself with those who uplift you positively.

The second aspect is prayer. In prayer, we reach out to God, and if you allow God into your situation, He can help you find the way to freedom.

Philippians 4:6-7

"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."

Prayer is the body of our faith, and through it, we receive support and strength.

The third stage is action. Your faith must be accompanied by appropriate deeds. Take steps to improve your life. This could involve participating in support groups, counseling, or changing your environment.

James 2:17

"Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead."

Your actions indicate that you are ready for change.

Rehabilitation is a process. It will take time and patience to fully free yourself from addiction and restore your life. Remember that you are not alone; we are here to support you on this journey. Involve God in your process of change, and He will provide you with strength and wisdom.

May you have strength on this path to liberation, and may your faith lead you to victory. 1 Corinthians 10:13

"No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it."
We hope this message inspires you and helps you find your way to freedom!
