Jesus teaches us about prayer in
Matthew 6:6. Here we see how Jesus emphasizes the importance of privacy in our communication with God."But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you."
The secret room is a place where we can be sincere and open. It is a place where our thoughts and desires are not hindered by external factors. In this silence, we can hear the voice of the Holy Spirit guiding and directing us in our spiritual life.
This can often be a small space in our apartment, a corner in a room, or even a specially arranged place for prayer. It is important that this place becomes our sanctuary where we can meet with God.
When we pray in the secret room, we also learn to listen. Sometimes, in silence, we receive answers to our prayers.

Colossians 3:16"Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom; singing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God."
