What are spiritual gifts?
Spiritual gifts are grace-given abilities that God grants to believers through the Holy Spirit. They can manifest in various ways and may be used to help others. The Apostle Paul explains this in his letter to the Corinthians: "Each one receives his gift from the Spirit for the good of others."
1 Corinthians 12:7"And to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good."
How to identify your gifts?
Discovering spiritual gifts can be an important step in your spiritual growth. If you want to learn about your abilities, try the following methods:
- Prayer — Ask God to reveal your gifts through prayer. Believe that He can point out how you should serve.
- Looking in the Word — Read the Bible, especially those passages that describe spiritual gifts. For example, Romans 12:6-8.
- Service — Get involved in your church's ministry. Engaging in various services can help you discover your abilities.
- Consultation — Seek advice from pastors or mentors who can help identify your gifts by considering your personality and abilities.
Utilizing your gifts
