Discovery and Use of Divine Gifts in Service

Holy Scripture tells us that each of us is endowed with special spiritual gifts. These gifts are not only for personal enrichment but also for serving others in the body of Christ. It is important not only to discover them but also to learn how to use them correctly.

In fact, divine gifts are gifts of the Holy Spirit, which have their purpose in real life.

1 Corinthians 12:4-7

"There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit; there are different kinds of service, but the same Lord; there are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work. Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good."

Understanding this allows us to realize that the gifts we have are not random. Each of us receives a special calling that can be fulfilled through service.

The first step to discovering your gifts is prayer. When we sincerely ask God to reveal our gifts, we open our hearts to new understanding. Pay careful attention to the inner voice, as the Lord will guide us.

James 1:5

"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him."

In addition to prayer, it is important to find opportunities to serve in the church. Focus on activities that you enjoy—these can include both volunteering and participation in various ministries. Through action, we can discover and develop our divine gifts.

Do not falter in your efforts. Often, we may feel self-doubt; however, the Lord calls us to be bold in service.

2 Timothy 1:7

"For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind."

Therefore, ask the Lord for courage in service, and He will support us!

It is also important to observe the testimonies of others. Feedback from those we serve will help you understand how your actions impact them. Do not hesitate to ask about their reactions to your service—this will help you direct your efforts in the right direction.

As we continue to grow in our service, we must learn to trust God in everything we do. On this journey, God will surely guide us, teach us, and ultimately rejoice with us.

Proverbs 3:5-6

"In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths."

Thus, along with personal growth and improvement, we become a good deed for God's Kingdom.

Remember that service is not only work but also a privilege. When we serve others, we fulfill a great mission that brings joy not only to us but also to many others. May your divine gifts become a light for many, and may your service bring glory to God.
