In everyone's life, there are moments when we encounter doubts. This is normal, as even the greatest believers in the Scriptures experienced uncertainty. It is important to know that doubts are not a barrier for God. The Bible shows how even weak faith can be used to achieve great results.
Abraham is one of the greatest heroes of faith. When God called him to leave his country and go to the unknown, he faced doubts.
Genesis 12:1How did Abraham force himself to believe this? Through his devotion and trust in God, he became the father of many nations."And the Lord said to Abram: Go out from your land, from your kindred and from your father's house to the land that I will show you."
Another example is Moses. When God called him to lead the Israelites out of Egypt, he also had doubts about his abilities.
Exodus 3:11-12However, when Moses realized that his strength came from God, he was able to fulfill the great plan."But Moses said: Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the Israelites out of Egypt? And God said: I will be with you..."
Thomas is another example of a person who struggled with doubts. After Jesus' resurrection, he did not believe until he saw the wounds in His hands.
John 20:27When he realized that Jesus had truly risen, his faith was strengthened, and he became a bold preacher."Then he said to Thomas: Put your finger here and see my hands; and put out your hand and place it in my side; do not disbelieve, but believe."
Each of these characters serves as an example of how, despite doubts, even weak faith can be strengthened by God's power. Who among us does not face challenges in faith? Even in the darkest moments, it is wise to look at the stories of these heroes. We are not alone in our struggles.
Knowing this, we can calmly offer our doubts to God. He is ready to hear our hearts. We can find comfort in
Psalm 55:22Remember that even in your weakness, you can hope for God's support."Cast your burden on the Lord, and He will sustain you; He will never allow the righteous to be shaken."
Be aware that doubts are part of our journey, not the end. Great results can come if we learn to overcome our doubts, just as the biblical characters did. May your faith grow even in the most difficult times. God will never leave you alone!
