Addictions are a serious challenge for modern society, impacting not only individuals but also their families, friends, and the entire community. Many people go through difficult stages in life due to various addictions, whether from alcohol, drugs, gambling, or even everyday things like chronic technology use.
We believe that rehabilitation from addictions is only possible through a deep personal encounter with God. The Lord can free us from addiction to gambling, alcoholism, drug dependency, and other ailments, giving us a new heart and new desires.
It is essential to realize that addiction is not just a physical problem but also a spiritual one. When we suffer from addictions, we may feel guilt, hopelessness, and loneliness, but there is hope in Christ. He accepts us as we are and promises to give us true freedom.
John 8:36"So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed."
This is a promise for all of us. No matter how deep our addictions may be, Jesus is ready to grant us true freedom. In nearly every situation of addiction, we can find our Savior in Christ. Therefore, it is crucial for us to turn to Him in prayer.
Prayer is the first step to liberation. When we open our hearts to God and remove our masks, He sees our distress and responds to our cries. God calls us to cast all our anxieties and shame upon Him. Remember, we are not alone in our struggle.
1 Peter 5:7"Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you."
Besides prayer, it is also important to seek support from the community. The church is a place where we can find understanding, support, and prayer. Our brothers and sisters in the community can help us in difficult times by offering words of encouragement, acts of kindness, and prayers.
Rehabilitation is a process that requires time, patience, and faith. However, with God's help, all things are possible. God loves us and wants us to live in freedom, joyfully and happily. In every struggle we face, He is with us, and we should never be alone.
We invite anyone who is struggling with any addiction to join our church to find support and spiritual help. Together, we can overcome these challenges and find hope in Christ. May our hearts always be open to Jesus, for He is the true source of our strength and liberation.
Remember, you are never alone. Together with others, under God’s protection, we can rediscover our freedom.
