The ministry of women in the church is of limitless importance. In the Bible, we see numerous examples of women who became powerful servants of God, affecting the lives of others and leading them to salvation.
In opening this topic, it’s worth mentioning
The Acts of the Apostles 9:36-42Here we see how Tabitha, through her good works and ministry, became a blessing to many.“In Joppa there was a certain disciple named Tabitha, which is translated as ‘Dorcas.’ She was full of good works and charitable deeds, which she did. But it happened in those days that she became sick and died.
When they had washed her, they laid her in an upper room. And since Lydda was near Joppa, and the disciples had heard that Peter was there, they sent two men to him, imploring him not to delay in coming to them.”
Women in the church play an important role in the community. They are the ones who support, serve, pray, and lead in their families. Often, it is women who stand in prayer for their relatives, friends, and acquaintances, leading them to the Lord.
Sometimes we may doubt our role, but I would like to remind you:
Galatians 6:9Every prayer and every good deed matters in the eyes of God.“And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.”
I recently had a conversation with a sister from our church who shared her experience of ministry to teenagers. She began holding meetings where she prayed with the youth, listened to their struggles, and shared her life experiences. This ministry has become a true blessing, and many young people have found support and hope in her.
Let’s also remember the importance of the unity of women in ministry. When women work together, share experiences, and support one another, they become a stronger team.
Ephesians 4:16This applies to ministry as well, as together we can achieve more!“From whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.”
I urge all the women of our church: do not be afraid to serve!
1 Peter 4:10Your gift, even if it seems small, is important for God's Kingdom!“As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.”
The next time you face difficulties, remember you are not alone.
Matthew 18:20All our efforts and prayers are in God's hands! Stay with the Lord and serve others!“For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.”
