When we pray alone, we open our hearts and allow the Holy Spirit to lead us.
Romans 8:26This is a promise that even when we do not know what to say, the Holy Spirit can intercede for us."Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses; for we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered."
This prayer can take various forms: thanksgiving, repentance, supplication. But it is important that each prayer is genuine and sincere, coming from the heart. As it is written:
