Good day, dear brothers and sisters! Today we will talk about the extraordinary power contained in a child's faith. Children have a special connection with God that often inspires us, adults. They do not harbor the fears and doubts that can hold us back on our spiritual journey.
When Jesus taught His disciples, He said: “Let the little children come to Me, and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the Kingdom of Heaven.”
Matthew 19:14This is a reminder for all of us: children have a unique ability to open their hearts to God.“But Jesus said, ‘Let the children come to Me, and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the Kingdom of Heaven!’”
Childlike faith is unburdened by most of the questions that occupy our adult minds. They believe in a way that no one else can. How can we teach them about God's love? What means can we use to convey to them the importance of faith in Christ? First and foremost, we must be an example. Children learn through what they see.
If we want our children to grow in faith, we must choose the right materials for their education. Preach, share testimonies, and read the Bible together with them. Create an environment where they can freely ask questions and express their thoughts.
This practice is extremely important as it shapes their understanding of God.
Proverbs 22:6Raising them in faith, prayer, and listening to God's word will provide a strong foundation for their spiritual life.“Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.”
Do not forget that children also have their own needs and problems. They have the right to their experiences. If a child shares their fears with you, listen to them. This will strengthen their faith and trust in God. Let your conversations be filled with love and support.
It is also important to create opportunities for children to serve. This could simply be helping in the church or participating in mission activities. Let them feel that even at their young age they can contribute to the Kingdom of Heaven.
Let us raise our children in faith. When we observe how they open their hearts to God, we can learn from them.
Mark 10:15May our children be an example to us, adults, in their faith, love, and confidence before God.“Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the Kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it.”
Join us in our children's ministry! Together we can help our children grow in faith and find their place in God's plan. May God bless you and your children!
