Today we will talk about one of the most important topics in the life of our society — the rehabilitation of addictions. Many people face problems related to addictions, whether it be drugs, alcohol, or even technology. These addictions can destroy a person's life, distance them from their family, friends, and, most importantly, from God.
We believe that the free grace of God can free the heart from the shackles of addiction.
Isaiah 61:1The Word of God reminds us that we are not alone in our struggle. He has called us to be witnesses of His restoring power."The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because He has anointed me to preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound."
Why is it so important to recognize the need for help? First, we must acknowledge our weakness.
2 Corinthians 12:9This acknowledgment is the first step toward liberation."But He said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.' Therefore, most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me."
The next step is spiritual support. We cannot face this struggle alone. Support groups, such as the rehabilitation ministry in our church, are crucial in those moments when difficulties arise once again. Brothers and sisters in faith who share our experiences can support and strengthen us in this fight.
We also need to continually turn to God in prayer.
1 Thessalonians 5:17This prayer can become a powerful weapon on the path to freedom. Prayer strengthens our connection with God and provides strength for our daily battles."Pray without ceasing."
Our church offers programs that help people with addictions find a new path. Explore our rehabilitation programs, which include prayer, fellowship, instruction, and Christian support.
In conclusion, I want to urge you not to give up. God has called us to walk in the light, not to remain in darkness.
John 8:12May this light illuminate your path to freedom."I am the light of the world; he who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life."
Together we can overcome any addictions. Join us for worship to receive the energy, hope, and restoration that only God can give!
