Children are not only the future of our church but also an important part of the present. In our community, we believe it is essential to provide love and support for children, raising them in faith and God's truth. This is not only our calling but a great grace that God bestows upon us.
Childhood is a time for learning and development. In the Bible, we read about the importance of raising children in faith. Every parent and caregiver has a responsibility before God for how they teach and nurture children. As it is written in
Deuteronomy 6:6-7Every moment with children is an opportunity to convey God's Word and raise them in the fear of the Lord."And these words that I command you today shall be in your heart; you shall teach them diligently to your children and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise."
In our church, we strive to create an environment where children can feel safe, loved, and supported. We aim to organize engaging activities that not only involve children but also help them understand God's truths. Our children's ministry uses many games, songs, and visual materials to make learning interesting and comprehensible.
However, children do not only receive; they also teach us, adults, the true essence of faith. They remind us of the importance of simplicity and sincerity in our relationship with God. In
Matthew 18:3This verse emphasizes how important it is to have innocence and openness, just like children."And he said: 'Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.'
Each of us can contribute to children's ministry, even if there is no direct gender role or attention. One can be a volunteer, a sponsor, or simply pray for the children in our church. Prayer is a powerful tool, so let’s remember our children in our prayers.
James 5:16"Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working."
We invite all families to participate in the church's children's activities. Together, we can create a supportive environment where our children can grow in faith. Remember that love and attention are the foundations upon which their spiritual life is built.
