In our ministry to children, we see a priceless opportunity to sow the seeds of faith in little hearts. The Bible calls us to raise children in faith, and this is especially important in our time. Unlike many secular influences, our ministry aims to teach children to understand and accept the love of the Lord.
One of the most significant components of our children's ministry is prayer. We want all children to know that their prayers have power and that God always hears them. As it is written in
1 John 5:14Our goal is to teach children to pray and to trust the Lord in everything.“And this is the confidence that we have in Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.”
In addition to prayer, we also teach children to know the Word of God. The ministry includes activities where we share engaging Bible stories. Today, little listeners have access to a variety of resources: books, cartoons, songs, and games. This makes learning more interesting. As stated in
Psalm 119:11The Word of God is the foundation of our lives, and we strive for children to learn to value it.“I have hidden Your word in my heart, that I might not sin against You.”
Social skills are also important for children's development in our church. The ministry includes group games, team activities, and serving one another. We emphasize the importance of friendship, support, and love, as it is through this that children learn to interact with others. By bringing them together in groups, we help them develop sensitivity and empathy towards each other.
One of the wonderful opportunities in our children's ministry is participation in church activities. Children have the chance to take part in festive services, help organize events, and even showcase their talents in musical performances. As stated in
Matthew 19:14Children are important in God's plan, and we want them to feel a part of this community.“But Jesus said, ‘Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.’”
We invite parents and children to join our children's ministry, as together we can make a significant contribution to the development of faith. Let's teach our children to love God, know His Word, and serve others together.
Everything we do for children in our church is aimed at helping them become true servants of God and a Light in the world they live in.
