Children – Our Future

Children's ministry holds an important place in the life of the church. It is not only an opportunity to teach children the foundations of faith, but also to shape their hearts for serving God from a young age. When we talk about children in the church, we are not just talking about future generations, but about currently existing members of God's family.

In Scripture, we see many examples of how God uses children. Here are a few: we remember young Samuel, who heard the voice of the Lord and began serving Him at a very early age. We also recall Jesus, who welcomed children and said,

Matthew 19:14

“The Lord said, ‘Let the little children come to Me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the Kingdom of Heaven!’

This only confirms that children have great potential to serve and worship God.

In our church, we strive to create an appropriate environment for the development of children in faith. This includes not only preaching and teaching but also creativity and games that help children better understand God's truths. It is important for children to feel that they are not just listening, but actively participating in the ministry.

It is also necessary to emphasize the role of parents in this process.

Psalms 78:4

“We will not hide them from their children, but will tell to the coming generation the glorious deeds of the Lord, and His might, and the wonders that He has done.”

Parents are a model for their children, so it is essential that they themselves are strengthened in faith and actively involve their children in ministry.

Let us also remember the communication among children. They can teach each other and support one another in faith. In our children’s ministry, we try to organize events where children can worship together, get to know one another, and support each other in their spiritual growth.

Serving children is not a carefree and simple task, but it is incredibly important. We can all contribute to this ministry and support it, as each of us has something to share with the children – from areas of knowledge to prayer. Let us keep in mind that children are not just our future, but also our present!

I encourage all parents, families, and church members to actively support children's ministry. Together, we can raise a generation that will serve God and carry the light of Christ into the world.
