The Wonders of Children's Faith

Dear brothers and sisters, today we want to talk about the extraordinary power of faith that our children possess. As we recognize the importance of children's ministry, we are compelled to reflect on how to rightly direct this power into the proper channel.

Children have an incredible capacity for belief. It is a faith that is not limited by the doubts of adults, and it is a gift that must be nurtured in the church and at home. Jesus Christ points to this quality in the Gospel when He says, "unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the Kingdom of Heaven."

Each week at our children's ministry meetings, we witness how actively children engage in the life of the church. They sing, pray, and boldly share their testimonies. Every time a child thanks God for something, we see a true miracle — heartfelt emotion and gratitude.

Matthew 18:2-4

"And calling to him a child, he put him in the midst of them and said, 'Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.'

We must nurture this faith by guiding children towards the Bible, teaching them the holy scriptures. By helping children better understand the Word of God, we strengthen their faith, encouraging them to pray about their experiences and joys.

The lives of parents should also serve as an example of faith for children. Together we can pray for the needs of our community, for the health of loved ones, and for collective blessings. When we form a community of faith together, children learn that they can trust God in all things.

Acts 16:31

"Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household."

Don't forget to ask children about their thoughts and experiences. This way, we can foster trust and openness in communication. Dare to share the wonders of God that have occurred in their lives, and let them understand that all our prayers are a simple path to divine answers.

It is also important to lead children to serve. Let our children serve others. Helping the elderly, the needy, or participating in community projects can unite children in love and service, preparing them to face the challenges of today. When children do good together, they become witnesses to God's power in action.

Ephesians 6:4

"Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord."

Through our support and encouragement, children can live in faith, filled with hope and love. Let us together provide them with opportunities for the spirit, so they can grow in faith, and with you, dear parents, instill in them confidence in God that will lead to great wonders in their lives.

May this moment be a space for prayer for our children, that they may become an even greater blessing to us and to the church. Amen.
