Truths of Divine Love for Children

Children are a gift from God, and teaching them about His love is an integral part of our ministry. Today we want to talk about the importance of Divine promises that are addressed to our children. These promises are the foundation for their spiritual growth and strengthening in faith.

The Word of God emphasizes the importance of teaching children. In

Deuteronomy 6:6-7

“And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them to your children, and talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up.”

It is essential that we, as parents and ministers, incorporate the Word of God into our daily lives. Let it be our priority to teach children about God’s promises.

In every child’s life, there are moments of doubt and fear, and they may not always feel God’s presence. But we can assure them that God is always with them.

Isaiah 41:10

“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

This promise shows children that even in the toughest times, they can rely on God.

Our children must know that God’s word is alive and capable of stirring their hearts. Through faith, they can receive God’s blessings.

Mark 10:14

“But when Jesus saw it, he was indignant and said to them, ‘Let the children come to me; do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God.’”

Thus, we, as the Church, must help children understand that they are important to God, and that He expects sincerity and openness from them.

Through children, we can enter into a deeper interaction with God. They serve as an example of faith and trust for us.

Matthew 18:3

“And he said, ‘Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.’”

May our children inspire us to be more open to God, even in simple things.

The importance of shared prayer times cannot be overstated. Creating special moments for prayer within the family will help strengthen the spiritual connection with God.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

“Rejoice always! Pray without ceasing! Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”

These verses can become the foundation for daily family prayers.

In reminding children of these truths, do not forget to explain to them that God’s love is unconditional and limitless. May this hope and faith shine in their hearts, and we, the adults, will support them on this journey. May they grow in faith, always relying on God’s promises!
